So why dont you challenge yourself to be a little bit more mindful & resourceful when if come to your house hold waste. Get the kids involved and paying attention to their daily habits, reflecting on them and finding ways to change for the better. Mind blowing fact - 30 million plastic toothbrushes and 2.9 billion straws are sent into landfill every year in Australia alone! ... That’s why we love bamboo so much! You can just pop it straight into the compost! (Make sure you remove the toothbrush head/bristles). We would love to hear what you are going to challenge yourself with this Zero Waste Week? Remember small changes still make a big difference!

14.01.2022 Hey guys, did you know it’s Zero Waste Week! So why do t you challenge yourself for the next 7 days to be a little bit more mindful & resourceful when if come to your house hold waste. Get the kids involved and paying attention to their daily habits, reflecting on them and finding ways to change for the better. Mind blowing fact - 30 million plastic toothbrushes and 2.9 billion straws... are sent into landfill every year in Australia alone! That’s why we love bamboo so much! Tips on how to dispose of (when the time comes) our bamboo goodies. 1: Just snip off the head of your bamboo toothbrush and pop the handle in the compost bin. Easy! 2: Always make sure you have your reusable straws handy. Slurp, wash and repeat (for as long as it will allow) and then the time comes - you guessed it... bam straight into the compost bin. Easy! We would love to hear what you are going to challenge yourself with this Zero Waste Week? Remember small changes still make a big difference!

14.01.2022 We recently had a customer say that her daughter went from refusing to brush her teeth to refusing to stop brushing her teeth when given a Boo brush! 09.01.2022 Even with having colour coded toothbrushes I still managed to use my husband’s toothbrush last night! Clearly yellow and white are not enough difference for my eyes to distinguish. I’m going to change to pink and black (surely I can’t stuff that up!)

01.01.2022 Six. Long. Months. The last couple of weeks have felt like some of the hardest for me, like a long distance runner hitting a brick wall as they approach the fin...al couple of miles, it has been a slog, so near yet so far. It has been half a year of homeschooling, juggling work, shouting, screaming, anxiety, relentless meal preparations, wondering why the kids can't seem to entertain themselves for 5 sodding minutes, wondering why I am so unfit I can’t even do a P.E. lesson (thanks Joe!), trying (and failing) to find a screen time balance, frustration, constant noise, mess, crying, crumbs EVERYWHERE. There have been highs (the togetherness) and lows (also the togetherness). No one knows what is around the corner, but as schools start back this week and a sense of normality returns, I think we all deserve to give ourselves a little recognition for getting through some pretty shitty times. So whether you feel like you've done a great job, a mediocre job or a barely even passable job, it doesn't matter - you've still done it. Give yourself a well earned pat on the back xx
