23.01.2022 Alright, while we’re at it... This has to be one of the most misunderstood road rules. Assuming the lights green and both vehicles are going straight and are about to form one lane, who has right of way???

21.01.2022 *ANSWER* When two vehicles are coming towards each other at a cross intersection like this, and are both turning right, no one should have to give way. This is because the two vehicles don’t need to cross each other’s path. If there is enough room, and the path is clear, they can both turn safely like the second picture shows.

20.01.2022 Who has right of way

19.01.2022 Lots of people mentioning this intersection in the previous post. I’m interested to see what people think with this one, so I’ll give people the opportunity to comment before I give the answer. So, who gives way to who???

18.01.2022 Two lessons left available this week and next week is being quickly filled. 0419 438 105

18.01.2022 ANSWER TIME! So many different responses again! Whoever has the fastest drag car was NOT the answer I was looking for Paul Noonan. The correct answer is A. This is a ‘zip merge’, which is where there are no lines marked and the road is such that two rows of vehicles must merge into one. In this situation you must give way to any vehicle which has any part of its vehicle ahead of yours.

16.01.2022 LEARNING TO DRIVE DOESN’T NEED TO BE STRESSFUL Early experiences can make or break a learner driver’s attitude towards learning to drive. Taking driving lessons early on makes much more sense and will prove to be much better value for money than lessons 2 weeks before the driving test

13.01.2022 WOW! So many different responses! The answer is: C gives way to B A gives way to C

12.01.2022 *ANSWER* (this one showed a lot of confusion) BLUE gives way to RED A stop sign is not more powerful than a give way sign when giving way. When 2 drivers arrive at opposing stop or give ways signs, the stop sign becomes the equivalent of a give way sign (after stopping). Both vehicles must give way to other vehicles before they must give way to each other.... In this example, 2 vehicles are opposite each other at an intersection. The Blue vehicle has a give way sign. The Red vehicle has a stop sign. The Blue vehicle must give way to the Red vehicle because it is turning right across the path of the Red vehicle.

04.01.2022 Driving instructors will be inundated these school holidays as Vicroads begins to work through the 3 month backlog of drive tests caused by the Covid-19 restrictions. Get in early to avoid missing out. 0419 438 105

03.01.2022 This post should help a few people So often during lessons I see people in other cars a bit confused with this type of intersection, and particularly this exact intersection of Kelp St and Raglan Pde. Today alone I saw people doing the wrong thing 4 or 5 times. Remember:... -The red vehicle gives way to the green vehicle because it is turning right across its path. -If the the green vehicle is turning left and the red vehicle is turning right, the red vehicle must wait and still give way. Don’t assume both cars will just take the nearest lane, they both are allowed to take whichever lane they want and the left turning car has right of way, so be patient. I hope this helps some people. Please share and have a great weekend

02.01.2022 Give this a like if you want to see some more of the confusing intersections in the ‘Bool clarified. If you have one in particular you’d like to see, or a rule you’re not sure of, leave it in the comments

02.01.2022 Well done to Isaac and Taylah, both passing their drive tests today
