19.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Firstly I want to thank all my regular customers. You are all cherished & appreciated. Thank you for supporting my small business. I saw a complaint on one of the community pages today targeting my business because I made the decision to send my chef home early on A Saturday. This person’s post triggered 149 comments of people debating about why the cafes close early in Toronto. I wanted to let all my customers know my opening hours depend on the customer flow.... We open at 8am and typically close at 3pm weekdays. Saturdays 8am to 1pm. We try to be consistent but the customer flow is never consistent. All the local businesses will tell you that you can never pick it. Being a small newish business I need to gauge my staffing based on the customer flow. So on the days the street is quiet I may send the chef home early or one of the customer service staff. If the morning is quiet I need to make the call do I spend more money in wages and hope to get busy or do I send someone home and try to recoup money already lost? If the community want the businesses in Toronto to open longer hours we need the support. The Boulevarde needs everyone to SHOP LOCAL! I challenge all the people who are unhappy and complained on the community page ring up and make a reservation for Saturdays. The Boulevarde Coffee Hub will open longer hours and fully staffed if we have the support. We need bums on seats ordering MEALS with their coffees! We have an awesome Chef so come in. DINE IN. I also respectfully ask all people before you decide to write a bad review or post negative comments about any business speak to the manager or owner first. Give them a chance to explain.
