23.01.2022 We know its been a little hectic trying to get a spot at the pub with our capacity restrictions over the past couple of weeks, and a huge thank you from us for your understanding, and willingness to dine at slightly different times to what you might ordinarily be used to! We have plenty of availability this week (at the moment, anyway!) so if youre keen to join us for a feed, give us a call or jump on to our website to book a table.

23.01.2022 No, its not Friday yet, even though were posting specials. Although, youd be forgiven for thinking it was, because heck, who can keep track these days? We have a few mid-week updates to our specials, and a public service announcement to share . Beat those midweek blues with a feed or a take home bottle of draught beer!

22.01.2022 The countdown is on! We cant wait to open our doors again from Tuesday! Bookings are still available for most days, although there are some limits on times available some evenings. Please give us a call on 9347 2382, jump on to our website and book online or send us a DM through Insta or FB if youd like to lock in a table! Walk-ins also welcome ... We do have to abide by a few rules set down by the Victorian Government to ensure everyones safety, which includes table sizes of no more than 6 (happy to have you here with a bigger group, we will just have to split you across a couple of tables!), and a maximum visit duration of two hours. We have to wait a little while to welcome you here just for drinks - at this stage we are required to serve a meal with alcohol. Well still offer up our takeaway and delivery services if youd rather wait a little while to come in to the pub. We cant wait to pour you a drink soon!

18.01.2022 Dropping kegs is never usually a job that any of us jump at. But right now, we couldnt be happier to do it! You drank us out of beer over the weekend, so weve rolled in some new kegs of Urban Ale and XPA from our mates at Urban Alley Brewery and Hawkers Beer, with another Golden Ale due from the good folk Venom Beer tomorrow! Bring your growlers, squealers, bottles or whatever vessel you can find, well fill them all!

16.01.2022 Well, that was fun while it lasted! Were a little saddened with the announcements requiring us to shut our doors again, but we know its for the greater good. We dont think weve ever had quite so much fun running the pub as we have had in the last six weeks and seeing how happy you all were to return to the pub, and especially to drink draught beer! So well remember that and it will keep us going til we can welcome you back, hopefully in six weeks time. ... Until then, well be here for takeaway and delivery to bring the pub to you through lockdown! 16.01.2022 Yesterday was tough. Really tough. And not just for us, as a small business, but heartbreaking for many, for a multitude of different reasons. The crew from Channel 7 news (who were wonderful) caught us at a particularly vulnerable moment. The roadmap announcements yesterday were not at all what we were hoping for. Weve always supported a slow but safe approach to reopening, but it was devastating to learn just how long it may be before we can hope to have you here at the p...ub. But today is a new day, and we wont let this beat us. We will be here, we will open our doors again and welcome you back to the pub, whenever that is, and whatever it takes to do it. Until then, were thinking of you all and the challenges youre facing through these times too. Its going to be one hell of a session when we get to it!

Our trading hours remain the same, Tuesday - Sunday, with our kitchen open from 12pm - 3pm and 5.30pm - 8.45pm during the week, and then from 12pm - 8.45pm on weekends (although forgive us if we close a little earlier on a Sunday, if its quiet). Following the announcements of recent days, we are no longer able to offer a pick-up service for meals or booze after 8pm, but were happy to deliver to you so theres no breaking of ...curfew. Thank you so much, for your all your support, youve kept us going and our team together, and we are incredibly fortunate and grateful.

09.01.2022 Well be opening our doors back up to a lucky few each day from Tuesday 2 June, and were so excited to have people back in the pub! We know youre all as keen as mustard to get back to the pub (that keen that wed received a booking already before wed heard Dans announcement that we could open our doors we take Sunday mornings slowly!), but we are limited for the first few weeks to 20 guests at any one time in the pub. As well still be offering our takeaway and deliv...ery service for the foreseeable future, well continue to operate this from our front bar, and as such, well welcome all guests into our restaurant/dining room at this time. Well power up the TV out back, so no fear, you can watch the footy at the pub! Were getting our updates on the path to re-opening at the same time as you are and we have been told to expect further information on 25 June regarding any special requirements we need to abide by to ensure everyones safety. We were lucky enough to be asked to talk about the lifting of restrictions with Channel 7 last week - thanks to everyone who helped out! Of all the things we thought this pandemic would bring, appearing on the news was definitely not one of them!
