08.01.2022 What a perfect day at Hillarys Boat Harbour. As a Rockingham local, I know how nice it is to be able to take the family down to the waterfront to enjoy some fis...h and chips in the sun. Our boat harbours, like Hillarys, are home to a number of small businesses, including retail, hospitality and tourism ventures, so it's important we do our bit to support them. Today I joined Rita Saffioti MLA and Jessica Stojkovski MLA at Hillarys to talk to local businesses who have been doing it tough because of COVID-19 restrictions. As we get closer to Phase 3 of our roadmap, I urge everyone to support local businesses and visit places like Hillarys. Today we launched a new walking trails initiative at Hillarys Boat Harbour - with three separate walks at the popular tourist destination, highlighting key attractions along the way. The trails are designed to encourage families to visit these iconic destinations and support small businesses as they recover from the impact of the pandemic. The trails are set to be completed by the end of the month.
