23.01.2022 Due to circumstances beyond my control our kitchen here at the pub will be closed today (Saturday) and tomorrow (Sunday) - open again Monday lunch. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Cheers Glenn

13.01.2022 With things easing a little we have decided to open a few nights a week for meals. There will be a number of conditions we have to abide by - but we are confident with your help we can meet these. Starting this Saturday we will open from 4pm Thursday, Friday and Saturdays...and on Sundays we will open from 11 am for lunch. We can sell takeaway alcohol from 4 o'clock and then dine in meals (for a maximum of 10 people) from 6pm. Takeaway meals will also be available. We will be... dining in the beer garden. For the next month or so we are restricted to having only 10 patrons in the beergarden...and they can only have a drink with a meal, However Julie and I think it can work, One of the conditions is that patrons will need people to ring and book for meals - but that will also help us. So organise a few friends, give us a call on either the pub number - 46939202 or Glenns mobile 0458002034 and book in for a meal. Please dont just turn up because if we have 10 people here you wont get in. Thankyou to everybody who has contacted us - we hope to catch up with everybody over the next few weeks. Glenn and Julie.

10.01.2022 Ok folks - Just a quick update on our situation - I dont know if we are legally allowed to sell takeaway alcohol or food - but Julie and I have decided to shut down completely. I suspect the nation will end up in a Lockdown situation anyway. If it takes 3 months...or 6....or longer...we look forward to having a Reopening shindig at some stage. Please everybody...do the right thing so we can all get through this. And just quickly... a big thanks to people who have contacted us to pass on their best wishes...it meant heaps. I I

02.01.2022 BROOKSTEAD HOTEL SPORTS DINNER Friday 2nd October Tommy Raudonikis and Alfie Langer will be the guests at this years Brookstead Hotel Sports dinner to be held Friday night the 2nd of October commencing at 6.30pm. Tickets, which include dinner, are available now at the pub. An auction of signed memorabilia will also be held on the night. Tickets are limited so book with Glenn now - women are more than welcome.
