18.01.2022 To have shared this incredible experience with my parents was truly magical. It had not been on my Bucket List to do whilst we were in Zimbabwe. However, l booked this on the quiet for my mum’s birthday as I knew this would be something she would love. It really was an amazing African experience and one of the most breathtaking sunsets I have ever seen. The vibrancy of orange and pink colours with the sun setting on the Zambezi river which borders Zimbabwe and Zambia and to t...hink just 5kms downstream is the ragging Victoria Falls. As you will see in the videos and the photos https://www.thebucketlistguy.com/blog/ this once in a lifetime experience of seeing hippopotamuses so close and with them opening their mouths fully and even the very rare sighting of them coming out of the water and walking along the edge. This was just breathtaking and moment where we all looked at each other and just said WOW. On the other side of the river were bull elephants you certainly knew you were in Africa. After 10 years of www.TheBucketListGuy.com, amazing global adventures, battles with pro...crastination & perfectionism, I’ve finally done it! I can’t believe I actually have a printed copy in my own hands. Thanks to the COVID lockdowns & my speaking travel schedule grinding to a halt, it was time to complete this big #bucketlist . Massive thanks to & Susan Dean - Publisher & the team at Dean Publishing who helped me pull it all together at the end. Thanks team. Amazing effort. Onwards to book 2 now!
