22.01.2022 The Bullants are excited to announce the appointment of Steve Jackson as coach of our Senior Women’s team for 2021. Steve joins us after a hugely successful career at the Bulleen Templestowe Junior Football Club where he was a triple premiership coach; with the Under 16 Girls in 2017 and the Youth Girls back to back in 2018, 2019. The Bullants Women’s program is now entering its fifth year of competition have been a foundation club within the VAFA Women’s competition which s...tarted in 2017. With Steve on board we have every reason to be exciting about the coming year and the future of Women’s football at Bulleen Templestowe. Steve brings a wealth a knowledge and experience in coaching Girls football and his appointment strengthens the already strong relationship and pathway to Senior football that exists between the Junior and Senior clubs. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank club stalwart David Keast for stepping in as coach of Women’s team in 2020. His steadying hand and practical approach was invaluable in what was an extremely difficult year. We all believe that the team was poised to make significant strides if the season had not been cancelled. However Keasty tells me he is happy to be remembered as the Bullants only undefeated coach !! Please join me in congratulating Steve on his appointment and welcoming him the the Senior club. If you are interested in playing football at the mighty Bullants please message the Club and either Steve or Bruce Traplin, our Women’s Football Coordinator, will contact you to discuss.

09.01.2022 Welcome back to all players and supporters, we trust you and your families had a happy and safe Christmas break. We have had a few enquiries regarding pre-season training so to confirm this has recommenced this week with the men training at Ted Ajani on Monday evenings and on Thursdays at Timber Ridge Reserve. The women are training Mondays at Ted Ajani and Wednesdays at Boronia Grove Reserve. Training sessions start at 6.15 for the men and 6.30 for the women so we can stagge...r arrivals in line with our COVID Safe Plan. We had strong numbers at training before Christmas and there is a real sense of anticipation and excitement around both the men’s and women’s squads. Please feel free to come down and support the teams at training and see how we are going for yourselves, you will need to sign in and respect social distancing guidelines to adhere to our COVID Safe Plan but it would be great for the players and coaches to see past players and supporters taking an interest. The coaching group for 2021 is Jason Reynolds, Senior Men’s Coach, Wayne Murphy, Men’s Reserves Coach and assistant to Jason, and Steve Jackson, Senior Women’s Coach. We are currently revamping our website (www.btafc.com.au) however this will take a few weeks to get fully working. In the meantime you can keep track of what is happening at the Bullants by following us here Bulleen Templestowe AFC . Go Bullants!

04.01.2022 Important Notice BTAFC members are invited to attend the 2020 AGM to be held Wednesday 11th November from 7.30pm. Unfortunately due to COVID-19 restrictions this year’s AGM will be held virtually using Zoom. To assist with planning and organisation of the meeting please register your interest in attending using the following link or alternatively email me at [email protected] or call me direct on 0410 335 216. Link - https://www.trybooking.com/BMHOZ... At the AGM we will be presenting reports on the clubs activities throughout the year and we will be electing the committee for the 2021 year. This has been a very challenging year for everyone and the club has not been exempt from this however, due to the hard work of the current committee we are eagerly looking forward to a successful 2021. For this to happen though we need people to get behind this great club and to support us in any way that they can. While key committee roles necessarily involve a significant commitment, there are a number of other roles that are quite specific and do not require attendance at all meetings e.g. organisers or assistants for specific social events or fund raising activities such as Past Players Day or the Reverse Raffle. If you think that you have the time to get involved to help in the running of the club, even in a small way, I encourage you to attend the AGM or to contact me direct. It is together that we make the most difference and have the biggest successes, this is even more true in difficult times such as those we currently find ourselves in. Now is the time to show what the Bullants has meant and does mean to you. Go Bullants Russell Wallis
