23.01.2022 Today is our National Day of Healing also known as Sorry Day. Today we acknowledge the harm that has been inflicted on First Nations people since colonization. But this acknowledgment shouldnt be set aside to one day or one week. If we are to ever truly reconcile with Australias history, the continuing discrimination towards First Nations people must end. We must teach our future generations the whole truth, we must teach empathy, and we must never repeat these wrongdoings. Straight up, dark history clip from Zachs Ceremony:
