14.01.2022 Our guests (Fran and Relle) have been in the bungalow this full week and loved what Broome has offered them. Environs Kimberley Art Auction was a hit for them and they go home with a Kerry Stokes painting! Kayaking with Broome Adventure Company, flying with Kimberley Aviation and the simple walk over the dunes to magic Cable Beach have been highlights. I am sure they are going to love the evening under the stars tonight with Greg Quickes Astro Tours. What next??? The list can go on.....

14.01.2022 It was magic at Cable Beach today. We went to welcome in a king tide of 10.13 m. An gentle breeze and wonderful in the water. A huge large manta ray having fun in the waves.

11.01.2022 So wonderful to have Brooke and Stacey staying for a full week. They had such a wonderful time here in Broome; Horizontal Falls, massage, Aura-Soma and the markets. Then there was the beach, and Crocodile Park. They sampled many restaurants and also Willie Creek Pearl Farm tour... We look forward to your return to beautiful Broome.

07.01.2022 Tropical Cyclone Rusty. A huge system and severe. Broome continues to receive buckets of rain and wind gusts, but the Pilbara coast is now under threat as the eye approaches. All the best for those in the path.

06.01.2022 Lovely to have Phil and Lorraine back to stay in the Bungalow. A weekend of R&R in Broome before heading back up the Dampier Peninsular. They have enjoyed using the new kitchenette which has made their stay more self contained and the room more spacious.

05.01.2022 We sadly say farewell to a wonderful man. .. Laurie Fisher from Canberra. He and his wife Thea have visited Broome annually for over five years and stayed here at The Bungalow. Laurie loved Broome and was so supportive and passionate about our wonderful town and environs. We will miss you Laurie. RIP.

04.01.2022 If you would like to see the amazing migratory birds of Roebuck Bay, leaving for their migration, then come to Broome Bird Observatory any day at 4pm. They will provide binoculars, scopes and a stool to sit on. Come and watch the flocks leaving the bay!
