Resilience requires inner strength, perseverance, determination, courage and fortitude, and elite athletes have an abundance of it. And if they have it, then so can we! You are not born with resilience, you build it as you go through life. So be proactive about dealing with problems, avoid negative self-talk (which gets you absolutely nowhere) and learn from all of your experiences in life.

06.01.2022 "Are you green and growing, or ripe and rotting" We all know business is challenging in the current environment. Our world has been rocked and so many businesses closed, or at the very least severely hampered as a result. Any plans we had a big year in 2020, for growth and expansion have largely been stopped in their tracks as we try to adjust to meet changing circumstances.... Many of us find ourselves unwilling to make new plan and goals for the future, but if we do, we risk becoming apathetic about our situations. As Lewis Carol’s Cheshire Cat told Alice, If you don’t know where you’re going, any road will take you there. While not all of us need to set goals to take action, goals give us direction something to aim for and aspire to. Just because we cannot predict what the future will bring right now, realistically when have we ever been able to? Our future has always been uncertain which is what risk taking is all about. We can only predict based on past experience and current trends. We feel understandably vulnerable right now, but that shouldn’t hold us back. We need to plan for the future, adapting, bending and flexing as necessary to changing conditions. Remember that old but very true adage, failing to plan, is planning to fail.
