Following the government's ban on enclosed gatherings announced on Wednesday 18 March, the Club is closed until April 26 pending further review of government decisions. Waiting for the government to move was not easy, but it gave our artists the best chance to seek support. We call on government at all levels to move decisively to address the uncertainty clouding the future of artists, venues, and arts industry participants in the wider community. Having studied #marlenedietrich for quite some time #uschifelix gives the audience very intimate insights into the live of an icon. In her one woman show that is only based on a small amount of props and a simple set design Uschi fully captures the audience with her wonderful voice and elegant movements while telling the emotional story of #marlenedietrich from her own perspective in public as well as in private life. 07.01.2022 Hey all, Simone here. As promised, we have been hard at work liaising with our artists and monitoring the situation as it evolves. First up: there will be a further announcement by the government regarding the safe course forward for gatherings in enclosed venues, this will come out on Wednesday. We will work with the government's advice and update you all as soon as we know. Until then, here is the current situation: the government is moving to ban mass gatherings of 500+ p...eople as a matter of law. This means that it is considered safe for the Club to remain open, along with other venues such as cinemas, restaurants, and bars. This is not to say it is "business as usual" - there is nothing usual about the current situation, and we are all doing everything we can to ensure a safe environment for our artists, patrons, and staff during these unprecedented times. We are taking additional measures in the management of the venue including a card-only payment system, removal of physical audience participation, a redesign of our drinks menu and garnishes, and much more. Our team, at all levels, are working together and with the rest of the industry to implement meaningful changes to every aspect of the way we work. We ask for your patience while we wait for the governments update on Wednesday. In the meantime look after yourselves, be kind to the very many people who are now wondering whether they will have a place to live as their jobs disappear, and support one another during this historical crisis.
