25.01.2022 Decorate your own cookies! I love this idea as a kids party activity, or for kids to decorate gifts for family members at Christmas time, or even for anyone who wants to decorate cookies but doesnt have the time to bake. And the themes are endless!

Its definitely not my strong point, but pretty happy with how I managed to get it to look like real paper by using the wrinkly side I was originally going to ditch! I had planned on using mat leave to improve my macarons, but once again I had a baby who wont be put down so that went out the window FYI you can stretch and knead sourdough with one hand

01.01.2022 Hello again! Its been a bit quiet here in the kitchen as I enjoy the last of my maternity leave and do my bit to stay home as much as possible. Its not been the maternity leave I had hoped for, but I have really come to appreciate how lucky I am to have somewhere safe to live, with access to everything I need, and an amazing support network just a phone call away. Here are some thank you cupcakes I finally got to deliver today, to thank everyone for helping us with the birth of Teddy last year. Only 9 months ago... better late than never!
