But in all seriousness we have been incredibly busy and our first priority is the day to day running of the shop and making sure the pups in our care are getting the best of the best! . Some crazy news is that grooming is almost completely full for the next 3-4 months. So if you’ve forgotten to book, call the salon to arrange a time or join a wait list. . Daycare is getting busy with some amazing new faces to come play with all our regulars. . A beautiful friend and local mum, is a staff member at bear cottage, and turned to those around her for help as covid has completely and utterly changed their ability to fund raise. As you can see in this picture @cinnas_too_koolie is inviting one of the other daycare clients to play a game. ... . In some cases a dog may not chose to play bow but they may try inviting the other dog by barking for attention. . If we allow the dogs to communicate with each other or with us by barking the dog very quickly learns barking is a useful and successful tool in receiving what they want from a situation. After this it’s not long till the dogs will take that successful method of attention and apply it in other areas of their life. This is because as a whole barking is an easily transferable behaviour and very hard to stop once it’s had success. .
