16.01.2022 Ok so I had a lightbulb moment yesterday....... Now, I consider myself a pretty emotional intelligent and aware person. I spend a LOT of time working on myself and my limiting beliefs......... BUT.... I stopped myself mid-tracks yesterday when I caught myself with an automatic response that I may have been telling myself for a long time. In short, I had an impulse to call a contact of mine and then immediately afterwards realised the thought "what's the point, no one is recruiting during Covid"...... Obviously I'm just setting myself to fail before I've even begun. There may be so many automatic responses that I am having/we are all having that I/we don't even realise which are holding us back. The result? I called my contact and secured THREE new recruitment projects to work on. Talk about lightbulb moment.
