17.01.2022 Your little local pub holds many mysteries. These are some photos of the little rooms in the pitch of the roof. Horse hair mattresses, little rooms, wallpaper that looks like its lead based. What was this section of the pub? Part of the accommodation? Staff quarters? We dont know. When the pub was built in 1846 it was the only building in the area built specifically as a pub. With many others being a part of homes or businesses not oringinally built as Public Houses. Much of its history is still to be uncovered. We love that just by visiting, youre a part of it
