25.01.2022 My heart breaks for what Covid-19 has done to the world and is doing now here in Australia, destroying lives and turning stress full volume. Personally my own anxiety is through the roof based in the largest capital city of Oz but we must do what we must do and that is to endure, to be resilient, to be safe and to be kind. Kind to others but also to ourselves. I wear my mask out, I practice hygiene and follow some other advice shared with me by my beautiful strega's who have ...endured the pandemic in Italy. I see so many people scared of the isolation, the emotional stresses, the financial stresses, the loneliness of those that live alone and are forced now to endure alone. You are never alone. Always feel free to write here and we will listen. Take this time to instead of pining for what you have lost in your daily routine to find new routines. Learn to sew, cook, garden, those old household things that modern society have lost. Reach out to friends and do a book swap, one of their reads for yours. Spring clean out all the clutter while you have a chance now before life picks up full steam again. Be creative, even if it is keeping a journal. Face time and video chat with your loved one. Knit your cat a hat. Do something to keep your mind busy and your heart full. 2020 hasn't been the year we all wanted or even needed but it is what it is, and as a society we need to endure together, standing together. I am medically exempt from wearing a mask but I endure, I suffer through the anxiety and breathing because I want those around me to know they do not suffer alone, we are all in this together.
