20.01.2022 During the 2020 interhouse drama performances, we had a few technical issues with the background projector. Here's a selection of hand drawn artwork from the students that weren't seen on the night.

19.01.2022 Today we had talented local author and proud Cathedral parent Krissy Regan, in the Wonder Hub to present and read her new book 'The Koala Who Lost His Heart'. The Prep's and Year 1's were some of the first to read the freshly printed book - which has been beautifully illustrated by another Townsville local, Gail Whebell. Without giving away too much of the story, the book helps to inspire self-love and well-being in children through the adventures of a young Koala who survives a bushfire. Krissy has kindly donated a copy for the Wonder Hub. The Wellness Poet

19.01.2022 We had a special visitor to the Early Learning Centre today, thanks to The Cathedral School Leo Club. Santa and his Leo helpers delivered individually prepared Christmas cards and candy canes to the children, who enjoyed lots of 'high 5s' with Santa and chats about presents they are hoping to receive on Christmas Day.

17.01.2022 On Friday, the Senior School Staff raised $188.00 for the Ronald McDonald House North Australia. At present all donations made to the Ronald McDonald House North Australia will be matched by a local business (12 Days of Christmas Appeal). https://fundraise.rmhc.org.au/12daysofchristmas

16.01.2022 Led by the children of current defence personnel, today we remembered and honoured those who have sacrificed their lives for our freedom. ‘They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning... We will remember them.’ Lest we forget.
