21.01.2022 On the weekend I enjoyed providing some gear and support to the Ballarat BLUES Festival, people seem to be enjoying my shaky iPhone footage of Geoff Achison (Geoff Achison Music) and The Souldiggers live from The Lounge at The George Hotel! John McNamara worked tirelessly to bring the festival together and it was a terrific success by any measure. 21.01.2022 The Cave is hoping to hear from original artists who have a bunch of original music that they are ready to perform live to camera, or could be ready with a day or two of pre-production with you own band or session players Initially hoping to find some around Ballarat, or able to travel to Ballarat; although we're working on a project to take The Cave's systems on the road capturing artists in their own spaces...

Ideally with DSLR experience, but not essential. In particular I am wondering how much you'd want per hour/session to operate one of The Cave's cameras...

13.01.2022 You’ve seen a little of what I can do, and the rig has improved since the last live content was published over a year ago. I have a new plan... to go on the lamb, in a van, in search of a jam! If I can secure wheels my next plan is to hit the road with The Cave’s lights, cameras and audio gear to capture live performances in artists’ own spaces; caves, studios or perhaps their favourite intimate venues. Live streaming, producing and publishing high quality live music conte...nt on the go. I’ll also be looking to create opportunities to follow artists’ on tour. I am on the lookout for a *cheap* but reliable van; long or extra long wheel base, high roof, few or no windows. I have started liquidating gear that doesn’t fit this purpose to fund the purchase; I have a deposit at this stage. I am also hoping to attract a (4G) connectivity & data sponsor... Low instrument levels to accompany a chorus of unplugged vocals * in the days prior to event anyone planning to attend can suggest songs... * on the day actual attendees 'vote' on song suggestions to create a song list for the session * with the song list planned, attendees then put their hands up to play, planning who will be playing each song before we kick off * Musos know which songs they need to prepare for * Confident that your turn to play will come around, everyone can get into the broader spirit of the event Thoughts?
