23.01.2022 Long awaited upgrades to the floor surface are happening this Summer at The Centre! The green courts (3, 4 & 5) are being upgraded to international grade Taraflex product, enabling premium play for everyone. Both Netball and Futsal players are eagerly anticipating the smoother, safer playing surface to improve the quality of their games. The Taraflex product cushions impact while keeping movements fast and smooth. The floor installation will take place in January with some ...demolition and prep work in late December, so there will be minimal impact to play. Teams will be notified if any games are affected by the improvement works. Summer comp for Netball and Futsal will resume in February on the new floor. When not in use, the courts are also available at casual play rates, so you can bring your family or team down to give the new courts a whirl in the new year.

15.01.2022 Its July which means The Centre is open! We are looking forward to welcoming everyone in as sports comps kick off, church gatherings resume and other activities slowly resume throughout the term. As you are welcomed back into The Centre, please help us out by following the additional rules and guidelines put in place to keep everyone safe. If you are unwell or showing any symptoms like temperatures, cold/flu and respiratory symptoms, please do not enter The Centre.... When you enter, please sanitise your hands at the available station (and continue to wash or sanitise hands regularly as needed). Throughout your visit, please remember to cough or sneeze into your elbow, avoid unnecessary body contact (like handshakes, hugs and high fives) and where possible maintain 1.5m between yourself and others. At present, our change rooms and shower facilities are staying closed, so arrive dressed and ready to play and head home for a shower afterwards. We ask that you bring your own personal items and avoid sharing items like drink bottles and towels. Spectators are asked to sit only in designated areas, following signage posted at The Centre and maintaining physical distancing where possible. At this stage we recommend minimal spectators, though hope to be able to welcome larger crowds later as recommendations ease. Centre staff are taking care to wash and sanitise the sports equipment regularly. Please help us by placing used bibs or equipment in the designated bins for washing, avoid mixing or touching the fresh washed ones. Thanks for your assistance in these unprecedented times. If we can all work together, we hope we can all enjoy sports safely together. @ The Centre
