A new groom of mine said this to me in a meeting this week and it has really stuck in my head. . I can see the optimism rising in the lovely-jubley new couples I have met with over Zoom this week (and the epic number of new enquires ). . Lovers all over are hoping for the best, they are making plans and forging forward. They know that we have... to adapt to our new world and just get on with it, their need to start their married life together won’t be held back by such frivolous things as a worldwide pandemic. . But sensibility reigns too, and they know that a new type of flexibility needs to be delicately coated around those delicious plans. . 04.01.2022 Contentment. When I talk to my couples, I always ask them how they feel when they are around each other and a lot of my couples say they feel content. . What a wonderful feeling for those lucky ducks. .... I haven’t really experienced contentment. Sure I have in a temporary fashion, down the bottom of a delicious cocktail or while sunning myself on a beach, but it’s not something I have ever experienced in a long term way.
