Our popular Wellness groups continue: Relaxation Group, Pet Therapy with Benny the Dog and Yelkas Kittens, Colour Me Mindful Adult Colouring, Yoga, and newly added Tea Tasting taste and learn about a range of herbal teas with health benefits! Creative expression: Art Project, Creative Writing, and, Craft Club. Social Groups; Movie Club, Coffee Club and Tabletop Gaming. ... Informative and interactive self-development groups: Workshops continue on managing unhelpful thoughts, Hearing Voices Network Support Group and newly added News Chat join group discussions about the most recent local and international news. Physical Health groups: Walking Group, Fitness for Fun, and newly added Workshop on Nutrition to improve healthy lifestyle. We will also be spending a morning at Artarmon Oval for a friengly group game of Cricket! We have very exciting outings planned for next month! We will be exploring Greek Cuisine in Marrickville, taking part in the Chinese New Year celebrations in Chinatown, visiting the Indian Bahai Temple grounds in Ingleside and enjoying a picnic lunch in the Temple gardens, and watching a new release film at Hoyts Cinema in Chatswood.

We will also be having a few days of connection desks at Chatswood Hub, so if youre looking for some assistance with your NDIS pathway or have any questions this is the time to pop in and sit down with a Local Area Coordinator!... These sessions are open to everyone: participants, potential participants, clients, consumers, customers, staff, families and carers. Looking forward to seeing you all!

22.01.2022 We had such a fun day at Chatswood Hubs Spring Fling! The beautiful blue skies graced us with their presence. We spent the day enjoying a bbq in the garden, a thought-provoking discussion by peer support worker Peter, an obstacle course and health check service, recovery dog companions, yoga, delightful sensory room and some trash drumming! Phew! What a day! Thanks to everyone who came down to participate and say hi! Your company made it all the more fabulous!

16.01.2022 This week is World Schizophrenia Awareness Week and the team at Chatswood Hub hosted an Awareness Afternoon Tea to raise awareness in our local community. The still May afternoon was a great chance for us to make to most of the gardens and the sun before winter arrives. We were lucky enough to have Peter Schaecken come to talk about his recovery journey and what being well means to him. The way he engaged with everyone at the event was wonderful, thank you so much Peter and we look forward to working with you again soon! We were also lucky enough to have a yoga and mindfulness workshop delivered by the wonderful volunteers at Sound Life, a quiz de-bunking some myths about Schizophrenia and enjoyed afternoon tea in the gardens.

NAIDOC celebrates the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. e will be running a number of activities and afternoon tea will be provided. Tuesday - 16th of October 2018 11am - 2pm Chatswood Hub - 47 Hercules Street, Chatswood... This year, we have decided to have our annual Spring Fling event during mental health month. The 2018 theme for Mental Health Month is Share the Journey. The focus of this theme is to about connecting individuals and communities and recognise how important this is for our mental health. Connecting with others can help us cope with lifes struggles, build resilience and improve our wellbeing. We have some special talks led by a Consumer and Clinician on site, chorus, music, yoga, craft, sensory tent, delicious food and most importantly, a space to relax and be around others. We invite you all to attend and hope you will enjoy it as much as we enjoy running our biggest event of the year! Please RSVP (details provided on the flyer below). 11.01.2022 It was a beautiful sunny Thursday last week and staff at Chatswood Hub across all organisations came together for to put some names to faces and learn one anothers programs and eat a light lunch. It was great to see staff mingling and chatting with other workers that they may see on site but might not get the opportunity to have a conversation with. Thank you to the amazing work that the Chatswood Hub does! Always focusing on collaboration and supporting Individuals to work towards recovery. We hope to see more of the community, carers and consumers attend our future Hub events. Stay tuned...news of our Spring Fling is coming up!!
