10.01.2022 Knockout Youth Suicide - PYS Fundraiser We have been trying to find the words for this post but we just can’t seem to find them, we are soo proud & slightl...y overwhelmed by it all so here goes... Firstly the support we had by everyone involved with organising the day without you all it wouldn’t have been the great success it was. The support & generosity of all the local businesses that got behind our event, donated prizes & their time on the day it really made the day something special. Arthole. who designed the event tees & Yoochooz Designs for printing them for the event, they turned out amazing. Danny taking on his own personal challenge for the day, 1hour of burpees with FighterFit donating 50cents a burpee & then Mayor Rhys Williams matching the donation, completely blown away. Danny smashed out 825 burpees!! The coaches challenge 3046 continuous punches of 8 different punch combos, representing the 3046 people in Australia that commit suicide a year = 8 per day, Coach Kelly winning this completing them all in 18mins15secs At FighterFit we are advocates for mental health, it is something we are very passionate about. This was a very personal cause for us so it really means the world that it was such a great success. We are looking forward to working more closely with Peel Youth Services as we have built a great relationship throughout this.
