11.01.2022 Prayers said every day of WWI by Rudolf Steiner Spirits of your souls, Guardian angels, On your wings let there be borne ... The prayer of love from our souls To those whom you guard here on earth. Thus, united with your might, A ray of help our prayer shall be For the souls it seeks out there in love. Out of courage shown in battle, Out of the blood shed in war, Out of the grief of those who are left, Out of the peoples deeds of sacrifice Spirit fruits will come to grow If souls with knowledge of the spirit Turn their mind to spirit realms.

08.01.2022 Last weekend saw the church lift into some of its wonderful light. An industrious group arrived and gave it a good clean and servicing. The next day, Sunday felt wonderful with an almost full house of people. We are sending light and warmth to everyone.

07.01.2022 St Johns Tide is approaching. It is always wonderful to experience us being called to live in the ethereal light of Christ in the dark of mid winter. We are called by the one who knows and loves the light to live in the love that light teaches us. This Sunday June 21st at 11.30 am after The Act of Consecration we will hold a contemplation of these lofty thoughts to prepare ourselves for the new season.

07.01.2022 In mystical and esoteric traditions we practice what is called distance healing. We can as a collective intensify our sense of well being in our astral/soul bodies (especially in our feeling body) and then send ,via the guidance of Angels, Archangels, Christ and the Holy Sophia, this energy as healing medicine to the folk souls and angels of all people in France. The same for any place or incidence in the world. The third condition for esoteric training in KotHW is that we m...ust realize that our thoughts and feelings are as important for the world as our actions are. This is the true form of prayer In that sense we can also take stock of our fears and bigotry and stop all speculation and opinion sharing. "opinions are frightfully thin things in the human soul. they dont have much impact on reality. they are just bubbles in the reality of this world (16/09/24) The best effective help is to, free of the negative emotions and focused on service of humanity, collectively send well being, peace, love and compassion to all concerned in these areas. 03.01.2022 Verse of the 7th week post Easter - Calendar of the Soul My self, it threatens to escape, By world-light mightily enticed. Now step you my intuiting... Into your rights firmly, Replace for me thinkings might, That in the senses sheen In itself wills to lose. See more

01.01.2022 Dear Members and Friends Twenty years ago today Michael Tapp came to Adelaide to consecrate our church. It was the first church to be consecrated in our region. We had bought the building, which had the name The Stable, in August 1995 under the guidance of amongst others, Helen-Mary Dingwall, Diether Groening and Taco Bay... With the designs by Witold Generowicz and the craftsmanship of Sam Verco we transformed the empty shell into what it still is today. We had bought the building and afforded the renovations through savings, generous donations and an interest free loan from the North German region facilitated by Rosalind Pecover and Dirk Schneider, and the generous support of the Sydney Community. Ten years later we were able to pay of the loan and do some further renovations and maintenance through the generous bequest of Jeremy Grey, which also helped projects around our region, including a large contribution towards the priests training fund. So many wonderful events have taken place in this building including large groups of children at the services (we had up to 25 children every Sunday in the first years here), Baptisms, large confirmation groups, childrens circus, a full cycle of annual festivals, weddings, funerals, markets, plays, concerts, choirs, fun raisers, Regional meetings where new gestures for our regional work were created, indigenous and interfaith connections, outback trips, a Theological academy, many different priests visiting from around the world, and more. We have also had lean times and suffering through which we have held each other as well as reconciled with each other. We also feel the pain of those who can no longer attend with the hope that in time this may change. At present there is a very committed group who are re-enlivening the community and through love and hard work in working bees, raising the vital life of the building again. the programme is building and this year we will see many more visitors and events beyond the central rhythm of the sacraments and study groups. These will include an upcoming Earth Guardians retreat with and American dowser Shelley Darling, An Icon Painting workshop with Catherine Hayes from Wellington, A visit from Cheryl Nekvapil our regional Lenker, Another outback trip later in the year, and the re-emergence off the theological academy as a place for spiritual research in Adelaide. A big thank you to all those who have held this Sanctuary of the Christ over the years, through thick and thin, and we look forward to growing together through the years to come. With much love and Warmth Rev. Martin Samson
