18.01.2022 We are throwing out some old printed catalogues with some gorgeous photos of plants and Christmas decorations ... these seem too good to put in recycling so we were just wondering if anyone has any use for these...?? Scrapbooking, childrens projects, dollhouse pictures... so many ideas.... Happy to keep them for a few weeks if you are able to pick them up. Please let us know if you want them. 17.01.2022 EXCITING NEWS Look what arrived in our letterbox this morning!!! Our 2021 LEMAX Catalogue! Here is a sneak peak!! ... Can you believe it’s that time of year again?!? Oh there are so many beautiful things inside!!! Including THREE NEW Santa’s Wonderland pieces which we are super thrilled about. We can’t wait to show you! However, we are NOT allowed to post or show any of the new pieces on social media or online just yet ...(we have to wait until we have permission from Lemax Head Office). We can share this piece on the front cover though - Tinseltown Plaza - which was an exclusive to Michels in the USA last year. See a video of that piece via the link in the comments. It’s gorgeous! BUT... you are welcome to come in and have a look at the catalogue if you would like and give us your Wish List. We are open this week Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 4pm. Our 2021 order must be finalised and submitted by the beginning of March and so even though the shop will be closed from next week, if you would like to visit by appointment, please contact us. We will be at the shop at various times over the next few weeks and you are welcome to come in, grab a coffee from our local favourites, Ramsgate Cakery or Queens Pastri House next door (once they return from their break!) sit down and enjoy having a look at all the new goodies!! 13.01.2022 Fire in Ramsgate Thank you everyone for your concern. We are fine here in The Christmas Shop. So much excitement in Ramsgate across the road from us this afternoon with a house alight very close to us in Ramsgate Road. Firefighters have the blaze under control and police have blocked off the street ! We can hear sirens and helicopters overhead but are not sure of any details at the moment. We hope everyone is ok

06.01.2022 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we send out our love to all who are fighting, caring, surviving.... or have been touched in any way by breast cancer and/or any cancer. October is also a special month for us too... Yesterday was the anniversary of losing our sister Melanie, to Brain Cancer 13 years ago. Not a day goes by that we don’t think about her or wish that she was still with us, especially because she would have loved our Little Elf and Baby Elf just... SO MUCH and our lives would be so much better if she was here to share in them. Mel always showed such strength and positivity during her fight and we strive to do the same in our own lives. She never gave up HOPE that a cure would be found. She will always share our Rainbows... We are so grateful for the time we had with her and also... we are so lucky that we were able to be with her during the whole journey unlike so many who have been unable to do so in similar situations during this awful COVID-19. Our hearts break for those who are currently fighting or suffering alone.... and for those who can not be with their loved ones, for whatever reason. 01.01.2022 How exciting!!!! For the first time since March, we had our front door UNLOCKED for some of today!!! And it wasn’t because we aren’t being COVID SAFE anymore, quite the opposite!! ... It was because we were lucky enough to have Elf Phil and Elf Jasmine come visit us for a few hours today and they were able to OPEN the door for everyone, provide them with hand sanitiser on entry and direct them to write down their details - to still keep everyone safe!! While we know that having our front door locked has been a bit of a pain for you all (and us) as you have had to knock and wait for us to let you in and then back out again, but we have just been doing what we feel has been the right thing to do for our Shop, our elves and our wonderful customers. But BOY did it feel great today for people to be able to walk in much more freely!! We are still monitoring numbers inside the shop, but so far, we haven’t reached capacity at any one time. The shop is very well spaced out, so as long as everyone is aware of each other, there is plenty of room to wander around. Unfortunately the door will still have to stay locked when we don’t have a designated door Elf, and so we greatly appreciate your support and understanding for this inconvenience. But oh... it really IS beginning to feel a lot like Christmas when we have special visitors like these two gorgeous elves!! Elf Phil should be back next Saturday after 11am, so feel free to come and say hello to him!
