25.01.2022 ANOTHER local business I would highly recommend is Tasmanian Stock Photos. Kirsten is LOVELY, fantastic to deal with, full of common sense and professionalism. She took these crystal clear and vibrant photos for our other business Emergency ID Australia and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND her for PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY and photography in general. She is located in Launceston ... #supportlocal

14.01.2022 Our 62 roses are very young and just a few are sprouting into flower, I’m a little impatient, however imagine them next years and for MANY years to come

13.01.2022 We are EXHAUSTED! 2020, for us, will be remembered as the year with no holidays, very few days off and work, work, work! I know 2020 isn’t over yet, but we have just ticked off the last of our major jobs that needed doing..:.for this year. ... We’ve done more to the property this year than what we have done in the past 6 years, since buying it. It’s time to slow down and ENJOY our property for a while, sit back and watch the gardens grow, grow, grow.... Hopefully 2021 will be the year of travel, enjoying ourselves, slowing down and socialising.

05.01.2022 Have a stickbeak at the plans: THANKS to Engineering Plus inc - House Plans Plus who did all our plans, dealing with Narelle there was excellent, she is super efficient and to Tas City Building for the building works, nothing was a problem for Project Manager, Martin Shepherd & the team. Looking forward to the next stage which is the pergola and outdoor living area. It will be "full-on" outdoor living with BBQ area, lounge and TV area, dining area and outdoor fire pit and ne...w double french doors off the kitchen to the outdoor living area. They have ALL been GREAT people to work with and I've made a couple of friends out of working with them, and them hanging around in our house for a couple of months HIGHLY recommend both.

05.01.2022 We had local Campbell Town character, Gordon Maxfield come today and dig 4 huge holes for our 4 new advanced Mt Fuji Cherry Blossoms which will be a major feature of our outdoor wedding area. Thanks Niche Plants For the efficient, GREAT JOB and GREAT PRICE you wouldn’t dream of digging these holes yourself. It would be hours & hours of back breaking work. Highly recommend Gordon for any work like this. He has done quite a bit of work for us and always a pleasure!!! Always ...gives me a laugh too We hope the trees will be a great feature for weddings and photo opportunities next year when we open, as well as well into the future. YES we did pull our son back out of the hole... #supportlocal

04.01.2022 An extract from the Governor-General’a speech at the Investiture Ceremony for Ordinary Seaman Edward ‘Teddy’ Sheean VC. Today is a momentous and historic day. ...For the Sheean family many of whom are here with us at Yarralumla; other family members are watching online. For the Tasmanian community. For the Royal Australian Navy and entire ADF. And, for Australia. It is a day to remember Ordinary Seaman Edward ‘Teddy’ Sheean. To acknowledge the gallantry, courage and selflessness he showed 78 years ago today. And to reflect on his legacy and what it means to us today. ... His story resonates because as Australians we continue to see and hope to see part of Teddy in the world around us: selflessness, loyalty and honour. On behalf of all Australians I acknowledge his remarkable service, gallantry and sacrifice. May we all remember it, honour it and learn from it. Royal Australian Navy Defence Australia Corporal John Solomon
