21.01.2022 Interesting letter out of North Shore Mariners this morning... With the club expressing concerns over the viability of entering competitions in 2021.. they have scheduled a meeting for Thursday night with all club members only. The club is asking for ‘tax-efficient’ donations... We have contacted North Shore Mariners expressing our interest in attending this meeting.... Will be interesting to see what comes from this.

18.01.2022 The AAFC Championship Partner Group has now expanded to 35 Clubs with the inclusion of Altona Magic, Canberra Croatia, Dandenong Thunder, Oakleigh Cannons and S...unshine Coast Fire. All 35 clubs met last week and endorsed AAFC’s program for the development of the model for a national second tier. AAFC is grateful to the Championship Partner Group for their commitment and leadership. We look forward to sharing our comprehensive work with the entire football community. We also appreciate the encouragement and support from FFA and so many in the football community who have reached out to us with well wishes. The Championship Partner Group will meet again this coming week.

16.01.2022 Retention rate from the program into 13s? If this program is so good why then are they still approaching other clubs for their SAP 12s players... Maybe has something to do with exact same cost as SAP except you get 1/3 of the sessions, 40 compared to 120, no games for development in the program too... Any coaches that follow the page feel free to discuss the benefits of training/games as we are just football fans but feel 1/3 of the training and no games isn’t justifiable

10.01.2022 New NPL yoof draw coming up with the comp split into zones
10.01.2022 Regarding the National Second Division we can reveal a little more info. However as the working group is still working on it, nothing is set in stone yet. Comp is set to start Feb 2023 with the work to be completed by mid next year to give clubs plenty of time to get ready. It will likely be a 14-16 team competition, criteria for the clubs to enter is yet to be finalised.... There may be pro/rel between NSD and NPL introduced but unsure yet if that will go ahead. FFA looks set to give it the approval once everything is set up.

08.01.2022 NSW FUTSAL UPDATE: Zoom meeting last night with the 12 clubs who opted in a few weeks ago. FNSW advised they will not be able confirm for another 5 weeks when the current health order is revoked what the competition format would be or whether if any competition would even be allowed to go ahead under their administration. ... The majority of clubs (including some of the biggest and most successful clubs) voted to withdraw from entering any potential competition due to the uncertainty and the lack of planning time if any competition would go ahead. Unfortunate news for many fans of the Futsal Premier League
