22.01.2022 The Federal Government has just unveiled a $66 billion economic stimulus package which includes: 1. The Government is providing two separate $750 payments to so...cial security, veteran and other income support recipients and eligible concession card holders. The first payment will be made from 31 March 2020 and the second payment will be made from 13 July 2020. Around half of those that benefit are pensioners. The second payment will not be made to those eligible for the Coronavirus supplement 2. From April some people will be able to access up to $10,000 from their superannuation this financial year and again in 2020-21. This will be a tax free withdrawal. Available to sole traders and casuals who have had a 25% decrease in their income. 3. Small business that employee staff will get a tax-free, cash payment of a minimum of $20,000 and a maximum of $100,000. Eligible enterprises will get a payment equal to 100% of the amount tax withheld. Boosting Cash Flow for Employers The Government is enhancing the Boosting Cash Flow for Employers measure it announced on 12 March 2020. The Government is providing up to $100,000 to eligible small and medium-sized businesses, and not-for-profits (NFPs) that employ people, with a minimum payment of $20,000. Small and medium-sized business entities with aggregated annual turnover under $50 million and that employ workers are eligible. NFPs, including charities, with aggregated annual turnover under $50 million and that employ workers will now also be eligible. This will support employment at a time where NFPs are facing increasing demand for services. Under the enhanced scheme, employers will receive a payment equal to 100 per cent of their salary and wages withheld (up from 50 per cent), with the maximum payment being increased from $25,000 to $50,000. An additional payment is also being introduced in the July October 2020 period. Eligible entities will receive an additional payment equal to the total of all of the Boosting Cash Flow for Employers payments they have received. This means that eligible entities will receive at least $20,000 up to a total of $100,000 under both payments. 4. The Commonwealth is offering to guarantee loans for SMEs to borrow up to $250,000 for up to 3 years. Under the proposal, the commonwealth will guarantee 50% of an eligible loan through participating banks to firms disrupted by the coronavirus. The loans can be unsecured, and used for working capital, and will have to be granted within six months starting 1 April 2020. Loans will be repayment free for six months. 5. Newstart allowance can DOUBLE and more people will be able to access it including sole traders and casuals. Waiving the assets test and waiting periods. Over the next six months, the Government is temporarily expanding eligibility to income support payments and establishing a new, time-limited Coronavirus supplement to be paid at a rate of $550 per fortnight. This will be paid to both existing and new recipients of Jobseeker Payment, Youth Allowance Jobseeker, Parenting Payment, Farm Household Allowance and Special Benefit. 6. The government is proposing to increase the threshold at which a creditor can take action to initiate insolvency or bankruptcy from as low as $2000 today to $20,000 and giving companies and individuals six months instead of 21 days to respond. Todays package of measures will bring the total value of the economic stimulus to $189 billion. This is the quick summary, we will provide you further details soon once everything is passed in parliament.

06.01.2022 Happy New Year to all of you driven and inspiring people! Keep working on your goals and growing, there is always more to learn and places to reach. Looking back and wrapping up the last decade we cant help but smile. We are always looking forward and working towards our goals but sometimes its so important to look back and reflect on everything you have achieved. At the start of this decade we met in high school and became one anothers rock through those roller coaster t...eenage years, I think for most of the age of 17 we stayed at each others houses laughing and learning and making memories that have held us together all these years. As the years passed, Rosie completed a diploma of business administration and Ashleigh completed a double degree in marketing and journalism. We made the move from Bunbury to Perth together with our bestie Katie, then eventually Rosie and Katie moved back to Bunbury. We both worked our butts off in the hospitality industry until we finally got our big girl jobs. Rosie became a qualified rope access technician and is studying occupational health and safety and non destructive testing. Ashleigh landed a job in her chosen field as a marketing coordinator straight out of uni and has moved on to her current role in marketing with a national construction equipment and truck distribution company. We have both built our first homes And one of the greatest highlights of all... we started our passion project The Climb Collaborative and cant wait for what 2020 has in store for us and our business
