Make a list of all the ingredients you currently have in your fridge/freezer/pantry. Can you make any meals from what you already have? 2. For recipe ideas look at your recipe books, search on-line or ask family and friends for the quick and easy suggestions. 3. Make a time to create your meal plan. I like to do mine on a Friday even...ing while sitting down to dinner with the whole family. Ask them for their input and choices 4. Make a shopping list of all the ingredients you will need for each meal, including your pantry staples e.g. break, milk, snacks etc. 5. Leave the shopping list somewhere where items can be added if by the family if something runs out . . . please note that some family members my struggle with this task 6.
