12.01.2022 YES! The Coastal Column is hiring RIGHT NOW! We are looking for the right person to work behind the scenes to help bring The Coastal Column together each month. What's involved?... - Configuring the layout of each edition - Editing. Lots of editing. - Rewriting - Some tasks can be completed through the month - Critical 24 hour work frame for one project monthly - Approx 3 to 6 hours work per month - Ability to work from home on your computer - Must be proficient in the use of Publisher Who might be the right person? - Someone who is absolutely committed to timelines - You'll have impeccable attention to detail - Self motivated as you'll work autonomously - A very strong grasp of written communication and grammar - A no excuses person Please note that in final production, this is where most of the hard thinking work needs to be completed. There is only a 24 hour window to complete this work and the time frames cannot be altered or delayed at all. The date will change slightly each month depending on when the print deadline falls, but this window will always be between the 10th and the 13th of every month. If you cannot be flexible to work around this each month, this position may not be suitable for you. We pay through the books and this is not suitable for anyone looking for a little cash on the side.
