25.01.2022 WORK IN PROGRESS | While we experience a quieter time at the Centre without guests onsite, our team is investing their time and energy to prepare for when life gets back to normal. We are deep cleaning, painting and renovating all of our cabins, tending to our gardens and working on improving the safety and security of the entire site. We look forward to seeing you when we reopen.

24.01.2022 TEAMWORK | Our Collaroy Centre team has spent the past two months not only renovating our premises but also preparing our facilities to comply with the COVID safe place plan. We are immensely proud at how agile and collaborative they have been, adapting to these changing times so quickly and efficiently.

24.01.2022 NO OUTDOOR EDUCATION FOR OUR KIDS...BUT they can visit PUBS and CLUBS?... CVA, in partnership with Outdoors NSW & ACT and the Australian Camps Association have ...joined together in an open letter to the NSW state government, advocating a common-sense attitude when considering the responsible return to outdoor education and school camps. The goal of the game is to score against your opponents net and knock each other down while you try. I think we can all agree that this is one of those games where defence is much more fun than scoring! We start the series with Sherrie, one of our longest serving members: I have been working at The Collaroy Centre for 26 years. My main job is Reservations Team Manager & Missi...on Camp Director. The best part of my job is running Mission Camps to give other people a fun, relaxing and safe place to enjoy this Centre, make new friends and be spoilt. I love The Collaroy Centre because it is a special place that I have been coming to since I was a young child and to work here and make so many friends is a great blessing. In my free-time I enjoy crocheting. Our team has finished sanding back the Auditorium floor which is now ready for painting. Making our site safe is our number one priority so we have placed new social distancing floor signs and hand sanitisers in common areas. My main role is Assistant Operations Manager.... The best part of my job is having the opportunity to interact with guests, to meet new people and share experiences.
