09.01.2022 When Sammy met Sally down at Gerroa ~ Sara Porter Meet Sara Porter - a local kiama resident is the author behind this beautiful little book. "My book When Sa...mmy met Sally down at Gerroa has enabled me to become an Author and a self-publisher. During the pandemic I walked Gerroa beach and was thinking about the droughts we had, the Christmas bush fires and now Covid-19. The realization of how much our local businesses had suffered was overwhelming. We are a tourist town and rely heavily on tourism. People love to holiday here on the South Coast, so I thought what a great idea it would be to help promote them. So, I did! I came up with a concept of a children’s book that would incorporate local businesses to help advertise them. So, without further ado, meet Sammy; and Sally , the Seagulls from Gerroa who take a tour around town whilst on fancy dates. I hope you enjoy my Little stories, for little people.
