19.01.2022 Just came across this beauty from some our favourite partners @cofinet. La Flecha is harvested by small indigenous landholders in Aponte, Nariño, where producers have mastered the art of honey processing for the last 3 consecutive years. Farmers grow this coffee above 1700 MASL and their farms range in size between 0.5-1.5 hectares. In this part of Nariño production is very small and relative humidity is low which facilitates the process as not much space is required and coffees dry much faster compared to any other coffee producing regions. The cup is bold and sweet, full of body with notes of grapefruit and brown sugar. Come and grab a bag for the weekend

We were looking for a place to start our family, become part of a community, find a meaningful sense of belonging and connect. Five years have passed and it has been truly heart-warming to see how folks conduct themselves around here, especially through the face of hardship; with such generous displays of support, kindness and compass...ion. Our coffee venture has flourished and continues to float amidst the current challenges only because of that. Business comes and goes, it is all part of the game. The space we enjoy in this community does remain though, and for that we are forever grateful. Please rest reassured that we will continue to strive, committed to convincing people that Colombia produces nicer coffee than cocaine, that we have more coffee farmers than drug lords, that we also want to leave a better world for the wee ones and that we will keep fighting hard until we can stand no more. 09.01.2022 Starting Monday 18th May, we will be extending our opening times in Mooloolaba until 1pm Mon-Sat. In order to make sure that we stay on top of it all and to keep our shop running as smooth as it has during the last month, we will continue to serve only takeaway coffee and food for the next couple of weeks. 06.01.2022 We would like to share an update regarding the actions we are taking to operate our Mooloolaba café towards complying with Stage 3 of restrictions that have been in place since the beginning of the month, in a way that increases business activity but does not compromise the health of customers, staff and the community Some of those actions include hand sanitising stations, preference of card over cash payments, comprehensive cleaning and sanitising of all surfaces, floor m...arks for queuing up, posters in all walls, removal of shared sugar jars and dedicated bins to name a few. In addition we promote the use of the CovidSafe app and have our detailed safety plan and checklist always available from our shelves at our shops As it can become difficult to enforce sometimes, our only ask for you is to help us practise social distancing rules, stay at home if you have symptoms and most importantly feel free to talk to our staff anytime if you have questions or concerns, we are always here to help, however we would appreciate any feedback to be delivered in a polite and respectful manner
