In 2018 I set out on my new adventure The Color Room Glenbrook, This salon is where my love of people and the art of hair comes togther. 22.01.2022 The hardest thing we will do in life will be to love another human more than you love yourself . Coming into the salon everyday hanging with you babes is a walk in the park compared to what these two throw at me daily . But I wouldn’t have it any other way. I used to be so hard on myself, I used to bitch about other people, I used to worry about what people thought of me, I used to be so obsessed with how organised my pantry had to be, ask @zoemckerrow she would vouch for tha...t . After all that complete bull shit, I can see with my eyes wide open for the first time in years. Non of it matters, it doesn’t matter that I have a car with a scratch down the side of it, it certainly doesn’t matter if my clothes are in-expensive, it doesn’t matter if my home doesn’t meet the standards of my friends or if my kids clothes are not ironed . What matters is when Julian gets invited to a kids birthday party and he saves a Lolly in his pocket for Annabelle so she doesn’t miss out, or when Anni is thirsty and gets Julian’s drink bottle as well as her own, it matters that I teach my children the true value of friendship, and with friends come love and laughter and that’s what I get every day at the salon with my tribe and my clients See more

22.01.2022 You know it’s the craziest thing we have to spend so much effort creating an effortless look so how much time do you need to set aside for your hair?? . If you have an existing Balayage and just need a little lift, 2-3 hours would be perfect . If it’s been 12 months since your last foil visit you might expect to spend 4-5 hours in the salon ... . If you’ve never had Balayage before and you have a dark artificial colour in your hair already, we’ll pack your bags and move in at least 5 hours to create a dimensional effect . Time spent in the salon = your spend. 19.01.2022 How do you celebrate Christmas? . As a child my mum did all the hard work, while we opened a ridiculous amount of presents . Then as the years went by we then travelled from house to house, often having to leave one house Early to turn up to the other house late, leaving some people to feel a little disappointed.... . Well I say stuff all the rules and expectations, I want to sleep in and stay in my PJ’s, open presents with my kids, have a champagne breakfast knowing I don’t have to drive anywhere that day. . Christmas is a day to throw out all the old traditions that you hate and start some new ones that are more in alignment with your new lifestyle. .
