24.01.2022 TEMPORARY STUDIO CLOSURE The Colour Circle Committee has decided to suspend all classes for the foreseeable future. From Monday 16th March there will be no classes or workshops at the studio. We feel this is in the best interests of our members and tutors, many of whom are in the most vulnerable category. Even those members who are not in the vulnerable category themselves will have family and friends who are. We will be monitoring the COVID - 19 situation as it unfolds... and making decisions based on expert advice and the interest of members. We hope members will keep on painting at home and we will be looking at some ways of engaging via Facebook and our website. If you have any suggestion about how this could be done please feel free to share via an email with the heading DIGITAL ART. Together we can help slow down the spread and allow our health system to cope better. We apologise for the short notice and inconvenience but trust you all understand why we have taken this decision. Keep safe. Lindy Whitton Vice President The Colour Circle

12.01.2022 To help members stay connected and engaged in art during these uncertain times we're setting up a series of small art challenges with an art related prize funded through the many generous donations of refunds. These challenges will go out via a general email, the Facebook page and on the website and will be open to all members. Prizewinners will be selected at random following the names in a hat tradition so everyone will have an equal chance and no one will have to be a judge. Happpiness all round :) I've set up a private Face book group The Colour Circle Art Challenge and if you're a member you can just click on the button under this page banner to join. If you have a great idea for a challenge we would love to hear from you. Just send it via email marked ART CHALLENGE in the title or post in the group.
