15.01.2022 About a year ago, I met the amazing team at Midway Road Community House and we started working together on a very special placemaking project that was all about building community connections by shining a bright light on the amazing welcoming, nurturing experiences on offer. It was so great to visit today and see and hear how theyve grown their amazing team of volunteers, won grants, added more colour, grown an amazing garden, introduced a GROW FREE Cart ( thanks for the yu...mmy rhubarb ) and kept their local community connected through creative ideas over the last few months. 15.01.2022 Friday was THE perfect day for installing our first ever (maybe in the world) Paint-By-Numbers (well, crayon actually) Paste-Up-Mural. Over 70 little hands coloured in 70 separate pages, and when put together, we got one, big, bright, colourful, many hands result Yay! .... Design collaboration with my very clever friend Claire, installation assistance by my ole buddy Will and amazing support from City Of Charles Sturt - especially Sarah and Janet .
