25.01.2022 Augusta has a new Rowing Club and two new Skiffs built by Community Volunteers. Pictured is the first skiff, sponsored by #thecolourpatchaugusta and bearing our nameThe second was sponsored by Di Ellis, a well known Augusta local. These beautiful boats will be paraded through the Augusta town @ 10am on Thursday 27th August. They will be escorted by police and will then be launched in front of Georgiana Molloy Park, on Albany Tce, soon after. Everyone is welcome to attend. 24.01.2022 An Earthship has landed at East Augusta. Across the river from Colourpatch Cafe, tucked away on a bush block, this beautiful eco-friendly house has been built by Clive Digney. Assisted by an international team of Earthship experts/volunteers, he has created an extraordinary home. Many features & functions are deliberately left exposed, showcasing some of the workings & artistry of this ship.
