25.01.2022 We are so excited to have Four Pillars Gin support our event again. Heres a bit more about them; Four Pillars want to celebrate the craft of distilling and elevate the craft of cocktail making in Australia. They believe people should drink better, not more #DrinkBetterGin Everything they make is crafted on four pillars: magnificent Carl copper pot stills (named Wilma, Jude and Eileen(!!!); the best water in the world from the Yarra; an equal mix of great local and exotic bo...tanicals; and, a commitment to craft and attention to detail every step of the way. The result is - divine!!! Gin lovers look out! We have two gift boxes up for grabs on the night ; )

18.01.2022 DINNER IS ON - AUGUST 21st The Comforting Hand Project is so happy to once again host our special fundraising dinner at Two Chaps cafe in Marrickville. All proceeds will be donated to the underprivileged pregnant women of Saint-Louis in Senegal, Africa, who are in desperate need of financial aid during pregnancy, birth and post-natal care. Join us for an evening of fabulous food, great African music and a lot of fun as we raise money to help our sisters across the sea.... 18.01.2022 Quick Update: We have been busy trying to get ourselves a registered charity and we are delighted to share that - The Comforting Hand Project (ABN 54 556 174 493) is now a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC); yay! Here are some images from Mbathios recent visit to the Agora Foundation in Senegal, the organisation we are linking arms with on the ground in Senegal. We can now finalise all the legalities and send over the $6000+ raised from our first fundraiser! So amazing and thanks again to all you wonderful supporters XXX

14.01.2022 A big shout out to all our supporters who helped to make a difference bu dining at our Grateful Dinner. A few years back our fundraiser dinner held at Two Chaps was a huge success and we raised enough money to directly support approximately 50 women to give birth with dignity and care. These women and their babies continue to access health care and support within their local area of St Louis, Senegal. And you made it happen! So we would like to let you know that on Wednesday night 21st August we are doing it all over again! So how can you help? Stay tuned for updates right here...tix available shortly

06.01.2022 The fabulous Ruby Lonesome cafe in Marrickville has generously donated a gift voucher for our upcoming charity dinner on August 21 - a big thank you to Lana and Nicolette for the support! If you havent been there yet, make sure you get yourself to Ruby Lonesome on Addison Road for amazing vegetarian food and delicious cakes. We love the breakfast quesadillas with homemade chile con queso (pic below), its out of this world!

06.01.2022 Hi to all our supporters...we finally have all our paperwork & legal contracts in order (thank you to Leah & Charlie Forsyth)...its taken months!!! Which now means we have now transferred a whopping $6600 to AGORA for the support of women & babies in Senegal just in time for Xmas! Mbathio, Eileen, Leah and I would like to thank you all again for this amazing effort. Our next fundraiser is marked for March will be just as exciting we hope!!! our children have already started ...to plan where they can help and are brainstorming their ideas. Isnt it amazing what we can achieve together. Merry Xmas & a Happy 2018!!!
