16.01.2022 One of the best pieces of advice I was given years ago was to save and re-purpose everything! Now let me be honest here... It hasn't always happened perfectly...... You know you start off well and then... Something happens and there is a distraction... And another one... And then consistency goes out the window... But... One thing I did remember to do was to save all my videos and "chuck" them on my YouTube channel (that no one knew about yet) And now I have over 100 pieces of content! Who knew???? Always record your work Always save it, and repurpose it

15.01.2022 Identification - when you identify with something it becomes of value... Think about it for a moment... We become attached to a ring, a person, an object of some kind... ... The value is intangible... You can't measure it (other than if it is gold etc it has the gold value at that time) You can't measure what we call the "sentimental value" or "that feeling" It is the intangible... and that can make it of even more value to the person who has identified with it. In business, the higher the intangible is often the higher the price tag as it is perceived as a high value to the client. Saving people time, the feeling you get of being in the room (even the virtual kind) at an event, your time and attention in a personalised way.

13.01.2022 Have you ever wondered why your business is not thriving? Wondering why you feel invisible as others are growing? I mean you're definitely working hard ... You work too much at times losing precious time with loved ones and the things you want to do... But What if I told you it was because you were following the wrong "Map?" On our master class the other weekend, we discussed the bright lights of Paris... How maybe you have always wanted to see the Eiffel Tower Experience the most romantic city in the world sweet Paris... but what if you were travelling there with the Eiffel Tower in your mind. Getting excited as you planned the trip You got to France and now you just had the street map to get you there. The sights were definitely beautiful along the way And you discovered some amazing "hidden" streets too But after a while you still couldn't find the Eiffel Tower??? What was going on? So you stopped and asked someone (well you needed to try a few people as they couldn't seem to read the map you had either) Until you realised, you had a map of Gdansk - A city in Poland. No wonder you couldn't find the Eiffel tower!!! You had the wrong map the whole time. Building a Business can be a bit like that... We are not given the "map" initially. The Life of freedom map that is... Instead we were given the life of sacrifice map But it can be changed... Once you are aware there is another map you can find it and begin to learn how to follow it. It takes a little time and support... But once you learn it ... Everything changes.

12.01.2022 I heard a new word... (For me anyway..) I get really excited when I discover new things... Almost like a child and I want to tell EVERYONE!!! Because there is something innate in me that I want to help others and I want them to "come out to play" Maybe I am crazy... (Just ask my family :)) But I get inspired by learning and seeing things come to fruition... For me and for others too The new word is "Fungibility..." Fungibility is the ability of a good or asset to be interchanged with other individual goods or assets of the same type... If you look at the business of coaching/consulting for example... Are you or your products "Fungible?" Are they interchangeable Can any coach/consultant be exchanged for what you do If the answer is "yes" then knowing your CORE message (the one that makes you stand out from the rest) is key. Creating Meme's that are unique to you Understanding your unique difference and being able to communicate that message....will move you away from being Fungible and into a business that communicates... The Right Message, to the Right Person as the Right Time...

11.01.2022 I used to be scared... Scared others would judge me Scared to get in front of the camera (my whole family wondered how I would go for my wedding pics I was that bad)... Scared in case I F$%êd up Scared to get it "wrong"(whatever wrong is :)) Scared to get on stage I would be mortified if I did something the wrong way I would beat myself up if the photo came out wrong (I always seemed to look weird in them, just ask my sisters :)) But then as time went and I did the work on me... I began to care less... Less of what others thought of me Less of my own inner critic voice (because that's it job right to criticise!!!) Less time playing it small And I grew And learned And flourished And now I look at images like this and laugh... Laugh because it is just a small moment in time in a much bigger picture Where I get to make a difference :) Grow my business And get to work with amazing people too... P.S. I never would have shown this pic before as it was "wrong" ha ha

11.01.2022 I bet you looked... Yes, you did... Did you know that Headlines are the most vital part of your Copy? ... Without a great Headline, you simply cannot attract your ideal client as they simply will not "hear" you... Here is a really simple formula.... start with... 1. How to (promise) 2. Without having to.. (whatever they don’t want to do) 3. So you can... (whatever they desire to do) Try it in your next headline...

08.01.2022 Sound is the first thing we rely on It is hardwired into us... Our predecessors could hear danger before they could see it...... Then comes visual... We can see the danger (or not as it may be) After that are the words... (think how powerful words are... and remember the others are even more so!!!) We need these for our basic survival as humans. We need to know when to run, when to stay, when you love... When you use all of these senses and craft the... Right Message, to the Right Person and at the Right Times... Then it becomes a message so clear your ideal client cannot resist!

05.01.2022 "I've had enough" "I'm over this" "Is this all there is?"... Sound familiar? I used to say that to myself ALOT!!! Especially when I was working full time for someone else... I got sick of it. 60 to 70 hours a week And the added unsociable hours of hospitality So "work for myself" became the dream Because then I could work when and where I wanted right? Well yes... BUT... Turns out I wasn't great as a business owner at first. While I had been the "boss" and "manager" I had never been fully responsible for ALL parts of the business. Cue wake up call (make that BIG wake up call!!!) So I had to learn. I had to get it "wrong" often, to learn how to get it "right" I had to learn that there really are no short cuts That if you allow it, the business can consume you. I was a workaholic for someone else what would I be for myself? A double workaholic at first... But with consistency and support, it grew... And I have learned (still am learning every day) And while at the beginning it is important to get known It is also important to know your value and when to level up to the next stage. (read move out of that old comfort zone you have become accustomed to) Then I read this... "The most valuable thing you can give someone is your attention. But sadly, it’s also the most valuable thing you give away easily... "Have you ever thought about how easily you give your 'units of attention' away? "Research by psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi revealed that we only have enough attention for 173 billion bits of information over our lifetime. "With this in mind, it’s critically important to be consciously aware of how you’re spending your finite supply of attention units. "Think of attention as ‘cognitive cash’. How purposefully are you spending it? "When your mind is encumbered through busyness, or the demands of others, your mind’s limited units of attention are being consumed by distraction rather than productivity. "Every time, every moment, every hour you do something you're not passionate about doing, you have to give up, you have to sacrifice, you have to trade an amount of your total life’s time in order to do it. "Are you getting an ROI that's satisfactory to you? "Are your spending patterns effectively leading you to the important outcomes you want? "If they are, congratulations... if not... is it time to rethink how you're spending your units of attention?" (Excerpt from How To Design And Present Premium $25K Offers) And I knew it was time... 01.01.2022 Yay, its Friday!!!! Do you hear your inner voice say, "Phew, I can work all weekend and get on top of things?" "I'll fix it all and then I can start again on Monday"... When I fix that website, when I get my list done, when I get the kids organized, When I clean the house, when I get on top of my emails... For today remember you don't need to FIX anything. There is simply nothing to fix, you are perfect just the way you are. When you let go of the need to fix things, and know you are exactly where you need to be, and learning what you need to learn... it is much easier to allow yourself to FLOW. Take the weekend for YOU. Saturday or Sunday (Of course, you could do both ) Set aside the time as you would for a client or 2. Go to where you love to be, in the garden, in your favorite room, in the park. Wherever that is for you, and just BREATHE.
