14.01.2022 Happy New Year!! We hope that everyone had a safe and enjoyable Christmas and New Year, spent with those that you love and cherish. 2020 was certainly a year that no one will forget. Families separated by borders and lockdowns, celebrations cancelled or put on hold, limits put on grocery items, wearing face masks and sanitising our hands, home schooling & working from home and new phrases like "Social distancing" are just a few things that became the norm in our... everyday lives. And some people, unfortunately losing their income and livelihood. We made it through, but are being challenged once again. We would like to thank all of our loyal customers that have stuck by us in the uncertain times of stock availability and being patient with us when we imposed a limit of three customers at a time instore. Lining up in the elements, whether it be the cold or the heat is not ideal! We would like to thank Sam, for stepping up to the plate after being thrown into the deep end of the Christmas rush. And William for once again cleaning up after all of us. Once again a huge, huge shout out to Chris, who put in many early mornings and late evenings to ensure that everyone had a feast on their Christmas table. You are truly an inspiration. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those people who expressed their sympathy on the passing of Elaine, our beautiful Mother, Mother-in-law and Nanny. Your words, cards, flowers and food were all greatly appreciated. This is what true community is. We will be taking an extra day over the new Year break and be back on deck on Tuesday.

02.01.2022 Another busy week done and dusted and the first week of mandatory face mask wearing. It is good to see that everyone is abiding by the regulations and seeing all the variations of masks, scarves, bandanas etc. On the whole most people are observing social distancing, are waiting patiently when we are at capacity(3 customers at one time) and using the hand sanitizer provided in store. We will still be keeping to our usual trading hours opening at 8am and closing at 5.30pm (12....30pm Saturday) with the inclusion of a one hour closure for lunch. Generally this will be from 1pm to 2 pm while this busy spell continues. We are still encouraging phone orders and offer free delivery which is made at the end of the day. Orders can be paid for by card over the phone, we have mobile eftpos or we still accept cash payment. Unfortunately we are unable to take orders for our meat packs at this stage.
