24.01.2022 LAST WEDNESDAY SESSION AT THE CORKMAN TONIGHT!!! Our final Wednesday trad Irish session is kicking off tonight from 7pm. Drop by and say hi to Paddy Fitzgerald and friends... 23.01.2022 One last thing..... Our other venue, The Last Jar 616 Elizabeth Street, will be showing the GRAND FINAL live on the big screen this Saturday. Half time sweeps and drink deals. And an awesome BBQ in our beergarden. Drop by and say hi :-)

18.01.2022 For those who have asked, the Corkman's traditional Irish session is continuing in the same format (led by Paddy Fitzgerald) at The Last Jar, at 616 Elizabeth Street Melbourne, every Wednedsay night from 6.30pm. The Last Jar is just around the corner from the old Corkman site and The Corkman's former publican (and fine fiddle player) Chris Fitzgerald is now running the Jar. So it's definitely the same crowd and the same great craic! All are welcome!

13.01.2022 Sadly, tonight is our final night!!! It has been a tremendous 14 years, thank you to everyone near and far that have supported us. $3 glasses of bubbles until stocks last. Ring a ring a rosie, as the light declines I remember Dublin city in the rare ould times" A fitting song from one of the old Corkman sessions, as we get ready to farewell The Corkman this afternoon at a public community tribute in the park diagonally opposite the pub site from 4:30pm. Please come along and help us say goodbye to a pub that has meant so much to so many for so long.

07.01.2022 For those interested, the musicians from the old Corkman traditional Irish session will be playing this afternoon at The Last Jar for St Patrick's Day, led by the wonderful Paddy Fitzgerald! The Last Jar is located at 616 Elizabeth Street Melbourne, and the session has found a new home there.
