16.01.2022 BLACK MOUNTAIN SOLITUDE In My Solitude my recent exhibition is now edited and also extended to create Black Mountain Solitude. It continues the theme of discovery around my home in The Great Dividing Range. I continue to support medium format Ektachrome and I know many of you who experienced the previous show by providing new homes for many of the examples available are equally enthusiastic. Old fashioned colour film is something special and the re-release of Ektachrome l...ives up to its image; especially when printed by Ben Ali Ong. This next extension of the work is largely by appointment due to the pressures we are all under at this moment in time. This is difficult for all of us, especially as I continue to believe that online viewing doesn’t capture the surprise of the moment, even though it may accurately transmit the image. I want you to witness the work in the real world and so do you. So, what can we do? The answer is: keep talking to each other. Ride the changes. I know there are those of you who would rather not have missed the first Ektachrome show. Mary & I will make every effort to accommodate your visit and if requested, we will be happy to allow you to sample some of the work via the post. 07.01.2022 The Corner Gallery continues to show lovely new work in the shadow of the pandemic. Bob Kersey is returning with his most recent ektachromes Black Mountain Solitude by... Bob Kersey Lock-down has inspired Bob Kersey to return to Ektachrome colour film to create some wonderful images. These will be shown at The Corner Gallery over the next two weeks, though appointments are necessary for some of that time. Bob will be at the gallery on Thursday 27th and on Friday 4th September and Saturday 5th to meet visitors who know or who want to get to know his work.
