24.01.2022 Come and join us for an exciting morning with Wiradjuri man Adam Shipp, who will discuss Indigenous connection to country. This workshop is open to anyone! Adam will take you on a tour through the Jerrabomberra Wetlands, showcasing a range of different plants found from around the region and the traditional Aboriginal use of them for making food and medicine. This tour will offer you an authentic, cultural, hands-on experience of tasting, touching and smelling a range of bus...h tucker with the opportunity to purchase bush tucker food and traditional remedies right from the bush tucker garden! 22.01.2022 The Centre of Professional Learning and Education (RTO 88148) has adapted to fit the needs of the changing COVID-19 situation with the health and safety of our students, trainers and employers remaining our priority. Since March 23rd 2020, CPLE have cancelled all face to face training events as well as workplace visits, indefinitely. Our team are fully remote capable and continue to support our students online via Canvas, phone, email and live and pre-recorded online webinar ...sessions using the Zoom and Loom platforms. Trainers remain in contact with students and are accessible via phone, email and video conferencing options. For the moment, all Professional Development Calendar events for the month of April have been cancelled. CPLE will continue to monitor the situation on a monthly basis and advise of upcoming session status accordingly. 10.01.2022 The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way people work and learn worldwide. To reduce the risk of infection, organisations have been forced to reduce in-person interactions and practice social (physical) distancing, while making greater use of virtual platforms. We are pre-recording webinars and presentations, and then doing live video conferencing to facilitate discussions. Its essentially a flip learning environment where we provide the learning materials first, and the...n follow it up with a live video chat for discussion and engagement. Were also looking into software to make our content more engaging and interactive. Watch Carla Scalia, our RTO Manager, give an overview of how the training has transitioned from face to face interactions to online learning, adapting to meet the needs of the COVID-19 situation.
