22.01.2022 WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU! Arts Margaret River invites emerging and established artists to an informal conversation to hear what your needs are and to build on t...he strengths and talents that we have within our community. We want to have conversations about mobilising our creative talents for a sustainable and satisfying shared future to support social movement and engagement in our community. With this objective in mind, we invite local artists to come and sit and chat about the issues you are facing and to a greater extent, what Arts Margaret River can do to help and enable this to change. We are actively creating a welcome space where we can talk about our Margaret River identity and advocate and develop industry-based ideas. We all know the Arts are good for our physical and mental health, so how do we develop ideas and programs that get those at risk to participate? We believe that a strong community arts group needs to be curious, collaborative and humble in our approach to 2021. We will be having our first meeting on Saturday 5th December 1.15pm - 2pm during the Radio Margaret River and Community Centre Celebrations and we ask that you register your interest. Location: Arts Margaret River, Margaret River Community Centre, Tunbridge St (look for our flag on the verandah). Please email: [email protected] to reserve your place. See more
