His first major gigs were on cruise ships, playing to 1000+ people on some nights. He has since settled in the Newcastle scene, booked solid every single weekend while still continuing his work as an electronics technician and volunteer work with the SES. Renowned for his broad range and incr...edibly good party sets, his sets consist of anything from anything from Motown and R&B to New Jack Swing, Pop Soul, 80s Funk to the latest Hip Hop and Commercial Dance. One of the good guys of the local DJ scene, DJ Searly was perhaps always destined to be a DJ. From an early age he was interested in electronics, starting with ham radio and going onto become a professional electronics technician, it wasnt long before he combined this with his passion for music and the rest is history - nearly 10 years later he is more in-demand than ever. Unfortunately, like the article states this is not an ecconomically viable option for us to host 10 diners at a time. We will certainly let you know when we are back to business as usual.
