25.01.2022 SOLD, Self watering garden bed, suitable for decks. This is a factory second one only at this price $150, typically $190. Ok so This style is a new addition Im testing the market with, its 1400X400x420 high. It has two self watering Pots inside already installed, can be placed on a deck safely, uses less water and less dirt, but suitable for Flowers, herbs and some small vege's only. not for hedge plants or any of that. This one For sale is the prototype, so im selling it cheap and its pickup only. If your interested in one of these designs they dont come Custom as these are designed around the self watering pots. they cost $190 each normally, this one is available Right now so be quick. cheers

25.01.2022 Tip, you can grow Mung bean sprouts and have them ready to eat in a matter of days. you can buy dried Mung beans in most health food sections, Dont bother with small seed packs, you can buy a kg of dried mung beans for $8-$10 a KG. They can be sprouted on your kitchen counter and eaten as soon as they sprout. If you want a sustainable supply well then you let a few grow to adulthood by planting the seedlings in the garden, leaving them to grow new beans for harvest, giving yo...u are continuous supply of beans for sprouts. Often over looked is Many dried Beans including peas that are sold for cooking can be often used for seeds, as long as they are not split. You dont always need to Buy expensive small seed packs. you can get a Bigger supply of seeds in the cooking sections, Flax or linseed is another option. eatable in days can let a few grow to adulthood for collection of future seeds. So while every one is rushing to the seed section and fighting over small packets, you can go straight to the dried food section and get more seeds cheaper. Dont forget many seeds can be collected from fresh fruit and veggies as well. See more

25.01.2022 ok it's been exceptionally busy, and the wether has been putting some delays on a few orders, and thankfully all customers have been very patient. Typically this time of year is my slowest period, but has been even busier than before Christmas. So thank you for every ones patience. If new people are wanting to put in orders I will be a bit slower on giving out dates simply because of weather being a bit unpredictable. But every one will be put in at the earliest times possible. 24.01.2022 I buy Old dead car Batteries for scrap, and increasingly I see batteries that are perfectly fine that are RACQ Calcium batteries. Now I thought Id make a bit of an Information post about your car batteries as RACQ does have a bit of a scam going on. Often People may leave their light on with a good Calcium battery and so the battery goes to low in power. Then RACQ often tell people that the battery is now no good and wont hold charge for long if jump started, saying things li...ke the Alternator, or your battery charger wont give enough power to charge the battery completely, and so jump starting wont work. Well this is sort of true as an alternator wont charge a flat calcium car battery from flat, and if jump started may charge enough for it to work for a short period of time before it goes flat again which gives the appearance of the battery being dead. What happens is with Calcium batteries when you jump start or charge with a regular car charger is the battery will Surface charge, meaning it may look like its charged but will continue to go flat again as a regular charger may says its charged when it is not actually fully charged. The scam is that RACQ and many battery sellers fail to tell you that You are just using the wrong equipment to charge a calcium battery, the old trickle chargers Just surface charge a battery, what you need is a Smart charger, and a charger that is actually designed to charge Calcium batteries, These chargers use a different method of charging that charges deep in the battery, not just the surface, Many people are throwing out good batteries because They are being told bad information in order to sell them an expensive battery more often. calcium batteries are more and more common now, and not many people actually have the correct charger to charge a flat battery, So if you do have your car jump started, go home and fully charge with the correct charger like a Smart charger that is designed for calcium batteries. So while your alternator and regular car charger will top up your calcium battery and keep it charged, they wont recharge one from flat. So These chargers can be bought at any car parts store, this could save you allot of money, I hope this helps. always check first to see if its a calcium battery you have and if you left a light on and it went flat always try charging completely with the correct charger before dumping what could be a perfectly good battery and handing over your hard earned cash. 22.01.2022 Some beds today, please note typically these beds arent recommended for decks, due to them being open based but even if they did have bases they would hold over a tonne of dirt which would be to heavy for a deck, however in this situation they are cleverly being used as a facade to hide bases of potted plants, which is a great idea. Gives the illusion of a garden bed but fixes weight issues on a deck

21.01.2022 Managed to squeeze in a bit of time to build a few small beds for home, for a small garden shed. This might be an idea for people when thinking of putting in a garden shed, bit neater than a slab. May in the future after the covid stuff subsides offer a setup like this in kit form to suit a shed this size, the shed can be bought from bunnings. Would avoid the need for a concrete slab, I just need to put some more white rocks around the base, But thats for the next time i can find time to visit the landscaping store lol,

21.01.2022 These beds we did are being used on a deck to cover bases of potted plants, they are open based boxes but can still be used well on a deck as long as plants are potted, this reduces weight as well as protects deck. Having a Box this size full of dirt would be to heavy for a deck situation, So potted plants are best at reducing that weight. which eliminates the need for a base.

19.01.2022 I did these big custom beds a few months ago. Customer has finished with their landscaping around them, I think this is very clever use of the garden beds with making a feature. Something different and works very well IMO, their hard work has paid off. This is why I enjoy doing these for the general public over commercial landscapers. Seeing peoples ideas come to life.

16.01.2022 I have been a bit slack with posting pictures sorry guys, Its been a crazy year, Busy and rain delays and all that. But all on track again. Things have been a bit depressing with world events which sucks and Im sure we would all like positive things rather than this constant bad news all the time. Anyways It looks like allot of people will be stuck at home more and more especially with the social distancing thing, But also getting out less trying to avoid being consumed by th...ose pesky Flesh eating Zombies. Now The Garden work always needs tobe done, the old weeds and grass seems to continue growing, Im yet to know of a virus that goes around that keeps the grass at a Lovely height lol. this might actually be the first one? So It can be a good time to take advantage of that boring time spent at home, making gardens neat and tidy but also help grow some fresh herbs and Veggies. So if your feeling a bit bored, and a bit depressed stuck in your house wondering what todo, well It could be a good excuse to do a bit of gardening. I can deliver garden beds to you and can help keep you occupied, so working on your lovely gardens with your family certainly Beats looking at facebook news feeds and being depressed with all the world events . Due the closure of many businesses my Partner has had her job cut so I now have a second set of hands so orders are being able to be filled quicker now also.

12.01.2022 Sadly some very good people through no fault of their own Will be left without jobs today, and businesses will equally closing all over the place, Because of these closures due to the virus, I cant express enough how Much I hope everything works out for you all, Hopefully all this just goes away soon and people can go about their normal lives. For every one else less effected financially, If you have friends, family and neighbors effected by all this, make sure you help them out, Just dont ignore them, or dismiss them, their family situation will be bloody hard and scary for them to get their heads around. 11.01.2022 Allot of people are worried they cant get seeds to grow Veggies, DONT WORRY There are various other ways to grow veggies using Store bought Veggies. You can often collect seeds from fresh Veggies, Eg pumpkins, tomatoes and so on, But also you can grow many other veggies and herbs from left over bits that are often Discarded when preparing vegetables for cooking. you can easily grow veggies without buying packet seeds, some times its even quicker than growing from seeds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJuXpiEjdcc

The tap and go feature does however incorporate a 1.9% fee which is why I dealt in cash previously.
