23.01.2022 Anxiety. I honestly didn't realise how much space I had given this giant in my life. I've also seen how this giant can easily slip into the life of my kids. Professional help is awesome and worth seeking if this giant found a seat at your table, and there are also some great resources out there. 21.01.2022 Project software for Freelancers and Organisations! When I started @TheCWStudios I knew I needed software to manage my projects. I had some key features I was looking for: - Affordable - I was just starting out and didn't have much capital. - Projects that could be broken down into tasks - Project timeframe estimations that could be exported for a scope of work. ... - I was also looking for time tracking software that could keep track of my time and then invoice off that time. Just after this - I came across Zoho Projects https://zcu.io/Nhta by @Zoho Corporation Running through my list... - Affordable - Free. long story short I ended up deciding was to upgrade to the full Zoho suite - at $560 PER YEAR for ALL apps it just made sense. I initially started on the free version, moved to monthly and then after a couple of months, knowing my income would sustain - went annually. - Project into tasks - easy! I could even add subtasks - AND the time allocated would rollup. - Project timeframes exportable - done! Easily. - Finally - Time tracking. I can track to the second for my clients. Leave notes on what I've done, export and show them if they want it AND run invoices off the timekeeping. 05.01.2022 Yesterday I was having a great discussion with a client regarding task management. I recommended a method called the Eisenhower Matrix. I first learnt about it while doing a course with Alan Muntz from @Leadership Pipeline Institute . I still use it every single day and it's really easy systemise it in any of the great task apps like Zoho Connect, Trello, or even the new Planner in O365.
