20.01.2022 Ahoy, me hearties. Avast Ye! This Friday we are celebrating "Talk Like a Pirate Day" at The Playhouse.... We need all hands on deck, dressed up in your piratey best (if you like) for a fun filled morning of treasure hunts, cutlass decorating, sea chanteys and general plundering. Careful you dont get made walk the plank! 9:30-12pm. Entry is as always, just $2pp, or $1 for children on a concession. Savvy?

20.01.2022 Hi all Playhouse followers, we hope you are all coping with the changes to our daily lives? Today we thought that some tips for Messy Play activities at home would be of use to you all. O - Clearly mark boundaries such as rope or tape, protect the work area with old sheets, even gift wrapping would do!!... O - Have everything you need within reach - you dont want to miss the fun!! O - Alternatives to the lounge room - rooms with lino or tiles, even in the bath or shower!! O - make sure resources are water-based to make clean up easy

20.01.2022 Woo Hoo!! The Playhouse is open from next week 9.30am MONDAY 20th to welcome you back again - were so excited! There are some Covid restrictions including maximum 25 people at a time, temp checks, no flu-like symptoms and social distancing but we know youll understand. Were looking forward to lots of fun and play again. We will be open MONDAYS, WEDNESDAYS and FRIDAYS only. Still no parties at this stage, sorry.

19.01.2022 Hello everyone! Due to the pandemic were all facing, weve decided to suspend access and parties at the Playhouse from now until after the Easter holidays. This is to ensure the health and safety of everyone, especially our precious little ones. Were also practising social distancing and hand hygiene to help slow down the spread of this virus. If youve booked and paid for a party we will be refunding you as soon as possible.... We will keep connected with you through updates on Facebook and our website, so please check these. You can also call us on 6424 7060 were happy to help if we can! We see this time as a change of pace - and space for all of us to consider how lucky we are to be in Tasmania just now, given this world-wide pandemic.
