25.01.2022 Want people to know, like and eventually trust you? .... To stand out and have people instantly recognise your brand, it's so important to be consistent across all platforms. That means using the same logo, brand colours, styles and fonts and even Usernames ( if possible) across Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, your Business cards, your Website and even email. Be consistent in everything you say and post.... Separating your personal accounts from your business accounts will make things much more professional and not confuse your audience. Are you still using that embarrassing email address from high school? It's time to scrap that and start getting serious about your image, it take seconds guys, and I promise you'll notice a difference.

16.01.2022 FIND YOUR WHY Let's face it, these days we are so bombarded with content everywhere and it seems everyone has a side hustle or is selling some new product. How on earth do you stand out in such a crowded space?? And make people choose you over the competition? You need to find your why.... that special factor that makes you unique, and that only YOU can bring. People want to connect with a real person. So grab a coffee and notebook and ... Ask yourself these questions: What is your passion/what do you enjoy doing ? What makes you come alive? What are you naturally good at? Where do you add value? How do you want people to feel when they think of your brand or product? Once, you find your purpose, the rest will follow. And the connections you create will give people a compelling reason to stick with you. Remember he who has a why, can endure any how.

My name is Gemma, I'm a mum to two gorgeous girls (Sophie 14 ) and Hannah (12) with another bub on the way. I'm a hairdresser by trade and have been in the industry for many years, and i've recently sold my hair salon which I owned for 3 years. It was such a rewarding time in my life but also full of ups & downs.... I learnt so many valuable skills and i while working on my salon's social media accounts as well as friends, it became clear this area was where i felt the most excited. Coming from a creative background, I place a big emphasis on the visual and Instagram & Facebook are my thing! Small business owners have unique needs, we work so hard and often hear many hats. My goal is to help you create a strong presence on social media and see your business succeed the way i know it deserves to.

While we absolutely need to follow the advice and stay home to protect our vulnerable, we CAN use this time productively. ... This is a great time to keep busy, set goals for your business, plan ahead, clean up your social media profiles, or join a new platform, learn a new skill, connect with potential customers and think about the future.. nothing wrong with a bit of a Netflix binge either
