22.01.2022 #marketing is like playing #mariokart - The business is Mario and the target audience are the coins. Follow the coins closely as you don't know where they'll be next. Social media is constantly changing - whether it be new algorithms or new platforms. Have you checked out TikTok or Vero yet? ... #stayinthegame #whatsnext #everyonelovesmario #princesspeachfan #follow #targetmarket #marketing #marketingdigital #marketingstrategy

19.01.2022 Are you on the right platform for your audience? Here's a really quick breakdown - Facebook- ages 18 - 50, varied topics. Use it to build rapport with your audience and brand transparency. VIDEO and FB LIVES are key for 2019.... LinkedIn - best for B2B. The 'professional' social media platform. Use it to build a professional image. Instagram - ages 18 - 35, lifestyle - show them what they could have / you have. Home of influencer marketing. SnapChat - Teens but the +25yo market is grow x2 as fast. Life and inspiration. Another tool for influences. YouTube - the second largest search engine. Men primarily use it for strategy based research and women primarily use it for beauty tutorials. Use it to educate your audience. #facts #socialmediamarketing #socialmedia #digitalmarketing #facebook #LinkedIn #YouTube #instagram

11.01.2022 #ClickGap I have spent the weekend reading every thought and theory on the click-gap that Facebook has added to its metrics. Much of what I read promoted what Facebook had already said - that it is to weed out 'low quality' websites promoting on Facebook by using a web graph. As Facebook puts it - 'Click-Gap looks for domains with a disproportionate number of outbound Facebook clicks compared to their place in the web graph.'... This is great! In most ways anyway. But just a heads up - If you are promoting an external site on Facebook and nowhere else, this may reduce your reach. Facebook also owns Instagram and WhatsApp and a year ago WhatsApp released a second app specifically for business (WhatsApp Business). Is it possible (kinda a no brainer really) that Facebook is pushing us to spread our advertising over Instagram and WhatsApp too?
